What we will do

Our responsibilities

In the first year, Poole Town Council will take over responsibility for allotments and the Mayor of Poole functions. Poole Town Council will develop an engagement strategy to engage and connect with residents, community and business groups across Poole. A community grants scheme will be developed and published in due course.

What you can expect from a town council

Town councils typically focus on local priorities and community life. This may include things like supporting local events, looking after community facilities, and working with partners on local issues.

This does not confirm what we will do in Poole. We will publish confirmed information as soon as it is available.
